Got coerced to hit the pier for some fluke and blues. Got there upon opening and picked my spot. had a couple bite offs again on 60lb mono. didn't even get to set the hook. no fluke for me. a couple shorts and 1 keeper for my friends. Forgot my waders and boots or I'd have hit up a few surf spots for the afternoon high tide. Decided to head home for some lunch. Hopefully the new moon will bring the same fishing it did last month.
