Irish Ayes Fluking 7-8-2011
« on: July 09, 2011, 08:24:13 AM »
I had the pleasure of fishing with Capt.Joe, Naked Eddie, And "Hey Guys I have a hook Stuck in my Finger" Dave.  We pulled out of the inlet and head north to find some Fluke immediately on the first drop. It was short Fluke city with the occasional Sea Bass mixed in. On to the next spot further north we found more shorts and a couple of cocktail blues. As Dave was taking a Fluke out of the net it started flapping around and Dave got a 4/0 hook totally embedded in his finger. OUCH!   We all went into first aid mode and Capt.Joe was setting up a string to yank the hook out when Dave closed his eyes and yanked it out himself. another OUCH cfzd.

After a bandaid was applied he was back to fishing. We made a few more moves and Joe landed a nice 22.5 incher,  We caught over 100 shorts but just 1 keeper, All in all a nice day. we head in before the storm hit. Thanks again for a great day Joe. t^ t^

Nice action at least.  Sucks that there was only one for the cooler though.  I feel Daves pain with the hook.  I put a nice VMC treble in the tip of my finger and out the other side.  Had to cut and pull.  That was rough.
Nice report Eddie.   t^
