Headed out with pops on my boat this am.
Target was bluefish and whatever else would bite the hook.
Wound up with half dozen blues to 5lbs (most caught on top) and half dozen fluke.
REALLY hurt to throw back the 21" 4lb FAAAAT fluke I caught.
Fattest of season by far.
Yep, as we all know, I couldn't keep the fish, but I can go to the store and buy it for $8.99lb after a commercial catches it for me.
Back at dock by noon.
Nice time fishing just me and pops. Like the old days growing up.
This time, he got to come out with me on MY boat.

And that commercial caught fish only needs to be 14 inches. Makes no sense to me.
BTW, Good catch. t^

Good Job Mike,
I wish I still had the opportunity to do that. It sounds like you guys had a good day. Nice going...

Nice. Weather was perfect. We stopped down @ Wagner's on the way home yesterday and yes the bridge is as low as I remember...
