Met Warren (WB), Scott G,and Jersey Joe at the marina at 3pm. We could not secure a bushel of clams. All the shops in the area were waiting for clam deliveries. Scott and Joe found a couple dozen at one Bait and tackle and also older clams for whacking over the side. AS we pulled out of Keyport the water was flat, temp was 69 deg, the tide just started going out and the sky was sunny and clear. We anchored up on a spot in 12' of water and chummed for awhile. Scott G got to break in his new Atlas 200 reel on a new Lamiglass rod with a big bluefish, The reel performed great. We were all impressed with it small size and smooth feel with plenty of drag. We picked away at dogfish, Bluefish, and searobbins. After sunset Scott pulls in our first keeper Striper of the fall season. The wind started to pick up and spin us around so we head for the slip.
