Another Winter Storm this week, but before and after it will be dry with cautious to hazardous water conditions. Monday will be dry, then another Winter Coastal Storm is possible on Tuesday Night and Wednesday, before clearing out for Thursday and Friday. Coastal Flood Advisories are still in effect for Monday and very possibly Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s Storm will not be as bad as the last storm, but NJ is targeted for rain and snow with possible accumulation. Additional coastal flooding is possible from this storm, but it will not be as strong as last week’s system. Water conditions will be poor with cautious to hazardous conditions.
High pressure will build toward the area from the west on Monday, sliding east of the area on Tuesday. A low pressure system will develop along the North Carolina coast Tuesday night. This low will strengthen as it moves up the Mid-Atlantic coast on Wednesday, moving quickly into New England by Wednesday night. High pressure will return for the end of the week and weekend.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!
