Pushed the Grady into the water this morning in 21 degree air temps. Found a few birds off Belmar and Asbury but a very slow bite. Ran up to Long Branch and found multiple patches of birds. Spent the rest of the day between Long Branch and Monmouth Beach. Ended the day with 10 bass, 8 at 24 to 27" and two at 32" and about 35 blues. Most of the blues were gators that held mostly peanuts but some sand eels. Was happy for it to warm up and the wind to drop off. Best fishing of the day was from about 12 to 2. All on Ava's and crocodiles.
