Feel like Christopher Columbus after todays trip!!!
Found the clam boats and thought, this is gonna be a day. One keeper on the first drift, not a bite on the second. Anchored up and tried clamming...NG. Ran off of the Highlands, NG..chased some birds off the beach, just a couple blues. Ran even further South only to catch some Bluefish.
By now, the psyche of the morning is just about gone. Gave it one last shot on the rocks, where the stroke continued!!!
Loads of bait again no matter where we went, and we didn't see the fish rolling on top like yesterday.
Hopefully with the NE predicted for tomorrow, things will improve.....good thing I wrote this report (before) my second scotch, don't want to get too emotional, I could get banned!!

If it was easy - everyone would be doing it! Sounds like a great effort though--and it sure beats a desk job on days like today. rgmn
