late start again...
got the good word regarding the bite, so had that on the top of the list, thanks Art t^
saw lotsa birds working when we came over Morgan Draw on the way to the boat, so headed there first
bad move nadda
conditions were flat minimal drift
picked up some chopper bluez trolling bombers and stretchs back over to Keyport
marked lotsa bait but no tosses or snags for the box
over to port monmouth area secret spots picked up some short fluke and one right at 18"
GKH for bunks-- again minimal luck with net/snag
moved around saw some bass come over the rails but not for us
trolled some more on the way back had some fun with more blues to 15lb- see blurry pic of split rings that didn't make it. Yep there was some pulling going on and lost some hooks but not the precious plugs...
finally gave up @ sunset but plenty of action
back at it again tomorrow hopefully an earlier start...
