bottom fishing Thu (1/10)
« on: January 10, 2013, 09:47:29 PM »
took a party boat out of pt pleasent today to do a little bottom fishing. didn't think we were going to sail cause there were only nine customers on board.  captain sailed and we were happy.  little breezy and choppy in the morning and started to calm down a little after noon.  fishing wasn't great.  few short tog, few short sea bass, two ling, one keeper sea bass, few dogfish, and bergals coming out of my buttocks....i think i'm still reeling them in.  rgmn

tog were suprisingly hitting a new penny shrimp while the ling i got on squid strips and the keeper sea bass on a squid head.  not a good fishing day by any stretch of the imagination but good time had with my buddy and glad I was able to get out onto the water.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

We don't have a problem naming other boats here. nor do we have a problem with naming other Business's Here.

What we do ask.. if you are going to "Suggest" a Boat or Business.. it be one that supports us t^

I notice on the jersey fishing websites they dont like that you mention a non sponcer party boat/charter you had fished on or going on..i feel it should be alowed to give everyone info & let the fisherman make his or her choice.

Right, No reason to mention a non sponsor, unless for something extraordinary. I fish on sponsors boats unless I just can't.
