FISH MONGER Bass, Blues and the LONE BLACKFISH
« on: November 28, 2008, 07:46:07 PM »
Had Matt Goldman and the family out for a jigging charter.

Headed out, nasty south chop in the am. Headed north, started on some bird life in deal worked our way up to the rocks. Life almost everywhere shortbass and blues.

We caught a ton stripers, but all were short. Nevertheless the Goldmann family had a blast with the constant action. Lots of blues too. Matt took a few dozen home for the smoker. Love watching the smiles on the kids face fighting fish!

Guess what else ate a cripple herring a nice bonus 7lb blackfish, pic attached.

Total catch was some where around 40 stripers and 50 blues. Catching was good but keepin was slow.

Good times with good people!!!

Thanks again Matt and crew
