Had the BACCALA out Saturday looking for some Large Fluke, with Stelios & Uncle Paulie.
Netted some BIG penutes and headed east of the Sandy Hook Channel. After a few hours and some shift shimmies we located a pod of fish. No one wanted the live bait. Aftetr watching Stelios put 5 in the box I could not stand it anymore and got out the bucktail rod. Lets just say good choice as 5 fell to the hook in just 1 hour. After a few more drifts we decided to head in. All fish ranged from 3-5.5# with a total of 13. U.P. coming up the rear with 3 on strip bait.

Sweet report Dave t^ I've had a few days as well where they did'nt seem to want the livies.. I always find it hard to believe that they would turn down the real deal for a clump of deer hair, but what do I know.. I guess ya gotta have yer eyes on the same side of your head to understand.. Great catch..thanks for the report chrz
