Awesome creature.  The video makes me wonder why the shark would only go after a dead piece of meat when there was all them live fish around?

Sharks have bad eye site and they look for a large, easy target, thats why they go for the dead bait, less work.  Did you notice how easy it was to pull the bait away from the shark.. They can't judge distance too well either.  This is way they bite anything, then spit it out if it isn't real food.

Whites have good vision.  There eye closely resembling the human eye in structure. Its an opportunity thing. Why work for a live, moving meal, when dinner is laid out for you?

I guess Shark week had it wrong then.. They claim poor vision is what causes a shark to attact things that are not food.  Not saying that they are blind, just saying that there site isn't sharp.
