Shoved off the dock with Colleen to give the Woodbridge Mayors Fluke Tourney a shot, this was Cols first ever REAL fluke trip with the bucktails...
Ran down thebeach to be greated with a SCREAMIN Current.... 8-10 oz bucktails witha drift sock did absolutely nothing..... moved inside where it was managable with 6's and picked slowly at shorts and keepers..... Finished the day with 8 in the box to 4 lbs, a few cocktail blues and a few sea bass, and 14 shorts, 90 percent of the fish coming on the meat....
Col battled with the dreaded Fishermans Flu most of the morning refusing to give up and she was rewarded after noon time when she was ok and catching, bagging her biggest to date at 4 lbs.. I give her ALOT of credit as she wouldnt allow me to go in to the bay or call it a day....
would like to congradulate Stelli's Uncle Paulie on winning the tourney with his crew and an awesome 13 lb specimen.......
