Is there any popular channel that the kayak fisherman use on a vhf radio? I will have one with me.

Normally vhf 68 for boaters in Raritan bay.  Vhf 65 around the hook ocean side.  Not sure kayaks use another channel but not a bad idea

yes we do we usually are on channel 71

when you launch ask on the radio if there any other kayaks out their.

we do respond, we try to help each other out the best we can.
