11-2-10 Shark River
« on: November 02, 2010, 06:21:00 PM »
Much nicer ocean this morning but no bird life as far as you could see.  Went back to Long Branch and banged away at the bottom fish.  Very good Tog bite but many smaller fish.  Kept two at about 18 inches.  Bite was better on clams than crabs. Boat comes home tomorrow so one more try.

Nice report Dave. I'll be out tomorrow as well. Maybe see you out there. I've been heading south out of the inlet and been doing so-so. Don't know what direction I will be heading tomorrow.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

Joe it is always a tough call on whether to make a right or left once you clear the inlet. Seems like I should get it right 50% of the time but my average is not that good.
