Barnegat Bay 7/7

 Got out by 5 am. Picked up 2 shorts both over 17". Only thing they hit was white bucktail with pink gulp. Water is still very cloudy. 2-3 ft down you can't see.

The bay fluking has been a little spotty this year but IMHO time of day has very little effect on  fluke fishing. You may find better action by watching the tides with 2 hours either side of the high about the best.
