Atlantic Highlands Sea Tiger II 4/12/09

After heading out to Perth Amboy to try to go on the first boat ride of the year, we were disapointed to see that no one was going out.  So with fish fever running high we high tailed it to Atlantic Highlands, nj.  Boarded the Sea Tiger 2 at 8 am.  The wind was steady and cold, but the great guys of the sea tiger put us onto fish.  I landed my first fish of 09 and so did my cousin.   

I landed two fish and my cousin ended with just one.  We had a great time on the Sea Tiger and hope to enjoy many more outings this season.
Boat total was about 7 or 8.  Very good day for fishing after a rough day (saturday).
Plus it makes for a good Easter Dinner. 

I'm the one with the brown hoodie.  So if any of you guys see me or my cousin out there this season, say hi.

Nice going. Glad to hear you got out & caught some fish. 

My son and I went down to the Misty Morn in South Amboy on Sunday. Got there at about 6:10 for a 7 sailing time. Capt. Jerry was already there and the mate for the day, Capt. Frank Tenore puilled in right behind us. The 4 of us sat inside the cabin and not another person showed. So at 7:01 we said our goodbyes.  Took the 5 minute drive over to the Capt. John in Keyport but they weren't sailing either.

In all honesty, I thought about heading over to Atlantic Highlands but didn't think it be worth the effort. Good job on proving me wrong...

We arrive at Perth Amboy around 6:30 am and only one other guy was parked there for fishing.  No one else showed up so around 6:50 i looked up boats in atlantic highlands and we drove like maniacs to make sure we there on time.

I think im going to have to wear a brown hoodie with the sleeves cut off then.
