Raritan Bay flounder 4/16
« on: April 16, 2008, 01:44:42 PM »
went out this morning out of Sayreville with my friend Ken and his wife on his boat the Breeze.fished Keyport flats, chummed heavy with fresh clams, only managed to catch 2 keepers and a few skates.fished an out going tide.fished till around 11am and headed in,he has to go to work this afternoon.on the way in coming up river we saw about 6 seals swimming by the drydock, tried to get a picture with my digital camera but couldn't get close enough,my camera I use on the boat is a cheap one witn no zoom.pretty neat watching them though.will check back here later and see how others did that stayed and fished the slack tide and the incoming.nice day on the water, first time out this year, proably go with him again over the weekend.my boat in the shop,I'll be ready for the Bass by the end of the month.
