Need help with outdrive
« on: March 27, 2012, 04:27:06 AM »
ok heres my issue I have an alph 1 gen 1 out drive. there are 2 trim limiters one on the port and one on the starboard. I found the end of the wires inside the transom but im not quite sure where the go too. I understand that one is for the trim gauge and the other is a limit switch used to trim all the way up for trailer ing. Do the go to the trim pump, or to the engine harness :headscra: Damn stern drives, I really need to learn more about them.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Clymers or Seloc manuals have complete wiring diagrams for your application. Found very useful when I restored my '74 Cruisers Inc.
