STUDY CITES ERROR IN TROUT STOCKING:
« on: September 06, 2007, 03:49:18 PM »
I know it's not about saltwater fishing but it sure hits home as far as the "best available science" thing goes. An article on page A8 of todays Asbury park Press in the lower right hand corner explains how the biologists were trying to rebuild trout stocks over a period of 3 years, but didn't realize they were using the wrong fish.
If the biologists can't get it right how in hell are we supposed to believe these people when they try to manage our saltwater fish. I wonder if MRFS was taught by these guys or are they related?
Try to make every effort to attend he meeting in Belmar at 19:30 in the pavillion on the boardwalk SEPT. 17,2007.
"Fishing," as close to heaven as I'll ever get!
