Got down to my spot at like 630 am to fish the outgoing on Saturday morning. High tide was around 645! chrzHad one rod set up with clams and another with some very expensive blood worms! When the sun came up I started tossing a popper on my plugging rod and on the 3 rd cast I had a fish blowup on it but somehow missed the two treble hooks! Did have any other action till the tide really started moving out. Something nailed my rod with the clam on it but didn't give me a chance to hook it. After that boat traffic picked up and shutdown all signs of life. Going to try again next weekend !!
