Enough Interest for Tuna Trip?
« on: April 20, 2013, 02:42:42 PM »
Saw the previous communication about not enough people to go on a tuna trip but looking to see if there would be interest in trying to get one together for this year? Maybe a smaller crew if not the larger crowd to go?

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Allright , I'm thinking end of July/Early August (mid week to avoid the parking lots on a weekend)... the MIMIVI 32 hour canyon trip would run $430/person up to 10...Additional  anglers would be $400 each(which could be passed on to reduce each person's fare, every additional 2 people would be $5 reduced). I believe up to max of 25 anglers....

Weekday is a suggestion to avoid the crowds of boats. If the majority needed to go on a weekend and we can get a boat for one of those dates, we can shoot for that. Comes down to how many can go to fill a trip up.

I would be interested in a weekday trip at that amount of money but how long of a trip? How many hours running out and back?

Leave Fri return Sat or Sat to Sun, even if we need to find a faster boat.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

I'm interested, but how "newbie friendly" would it be for some one completely new to Tuna fishing?

Kinda worked for me. Caught a fish but not a Tuna. Still had a blast with the guys and catching a Sword was great.

Me too!

I'd be interested depending on the dates. I have no preference for weekends or week days.
