Title: COCK ROBIN- July 6
Post by: reelnauti on July 07, 2009, 06:40:36 AM
have i mentioned the "...one good day, one....not so good..." theory?!

after a slow Sunday, we licked our wounds and headed back east with a light crowd for the first Monday, July trip.

The fish decided to EAT again!!!  Not a consistent bite, but good enough action that at the end of the day you knew you went fishing on the Cock Robin!

Long drifts, big fish, all on jigs.  Some bonus surface action to keep you motivated!

Megan Riley, Jupiter, Fla caught 'em up, Dave Scott from Allegany, NJ won the pool with a 15lb GATOR.  The Bassett family, PA combined for 25+ fish!

Long-time Cock Robin friend Al Downing, Egg Harbor, NJ did his thing keeping 1/2 a dozen and returning that plus to swim again!  Nice job on the c/r Al.

Amanda Triscott, Allentown PA filled her cooler!

WEDNESDAY is MARATHON WEDNESDAY
6am- 2:30p NO EXTRA COST!
(and I'm going to make a rare Wednesday appearance!)

THURSDAY is FISH DONATION DAY BENEFITING the JOAN VALENTINE HOUSE

EVERY WEEKDAY is CAMP COCK ROBIN!
Kids 8-15yrs sail supervised with a dedicated mate!
