Union Beach Thurs eve, 3-20-08

Cashin invited me out surf fishing to Union beach. We had some nice reports from the previous night. We arrived about 2 1/2 hours after high tide at 5:50pm. We tossed out a couple of clam bellies and waited. No action to be reported. We packed it in around 9pm. A couple of other guys claimed to get some hits around high tide but none landed. It was nice to be fishing though. I should be launching the boat in a week or so. chrz
