First day in water and Stripers too! April 05,2010

I put the boat in its slip today, Its the first one in the water at the marina. TT^  Cashin gave me a call and we met at the Marina at 6pm with a half bushel of Clams. We left Keyport and Started fishing the Raritan Bay around 6:30. The tide was going out and had about 2 hours left to dead low. We anchored up and started whacking Clams and started hooking up with Stripers. Eight Stripers were caught including a couple of Keepers in the first two hours. When the tide went slack we picked up one more fish. The tide was taking too long to turn because the wind was pushing the water pretty hard. We released all the fish and head back in around 11PM. It was a good first day on the water. TT^
