LBI 4/25

Hit LBI yesterday hard from 10AM to 1130 PM. Fished out front, out back, everywhere I could, even the inlet. Managed one skate on mackerel chunk from the surf. Nice to feel a bend in the rod from the surf already...

Im glad I moved around alot yesterday.... I did get alot of scouting out done for holes and bars at low tide which proved to be a great day either way with some awesome weather and my friends smitty and Jeff joined me as well.

Well everyday can't be super.  With that said your day at the beach was a good one especially when you said you scouted the beach for bars, rips and the like.  Many would just be out there plunking away and not move all day.

If you want to catch fish you have to be mobile and learn to read the beach.

Good going on the bent rod as well.   slt
