Sometimes you just don't have to catch a thing...

Finally took my son out to the Poconos and helped him break in his Spider Man pole.  Had a couple runs of perch but nothing lifted out of the water.  He had more fun watching daddy cast it so he could reel it back in while calling out "here fishy fishy"  rofla

I'd take the skunk sitting on a dock with my little man over trophies from the sea any day though.
