Fish Monger Fluke 7/30 Jigamafish trip
« on: July 30, 2008, 07:43:18 PM »
Had the Joe Jigamafish group of 3 aboard with us today. He won the trip at The NJSALTWATER PARTY TT^.

Headed north again today. Picked a couple nice keepers right away. Had drifting problems today, but we did have some northernly current so that helped. Picked a few fish nice fish every now and again. They were nice size so worth waiting for...

Bite picked up for a little while but lots of 17- 17 1/2 shorts. Joe lead the way for them ;D

Total tally was 17 keepers and 7 seabass.

1 over 6lbs
3 others over 5lbs.

Great having you guys aboard.

Art we missed you.

Thanks

Capt Jerry

Good job Capt Jerry. That was the prize I wanted to win at the party. Maybe next time, if you offer it up again.  TT^

What a prize!!!  Capt. Jerry spent a lot of money on fuel and time to take us fishing.  If Tony didn't have to come in to get his kids, we'd still be fishing.

I WILL be a repeat customer.

Thanks again Capt. for a great day of fishin!!!

What a great trip.  I had a blast.  I had to be back at my house by 5.  At one point, I asked the Capt.  How are we looking on time.  He responsed basically saying he's not wearing a watch and he's not concerned about time.  What a thing to say!!!  Stuff like that keeps me going back.

Thanks Capt. for a great trip.  chrz.  Bruce the Mate did a fine job as well.  Can't wait to fish with you guys again.

PS - I noticed Joe didn't say who caught the 6 lber.  I wonder who it was  5hrug  ;D

I also didnt mention the guy who reeled in a keeper fluke that had another's hook in it's mouth.  Gotta give braid it's credit.  My line was being hit, I reel in the fluke, the hook in the mouth is Tony's dead sticked line. I get half the credit. So, I got 6 1/2 keepers yesterday.

Ahhhhhhh, The assist catch...they are great for the guy who actually hooked the fish...doesn't have to do a thing but claim ownership when the assistant did all the work.  ;D

Sounds like you guys had a great trip. Kudos to Captain Jerry and his mate.  slt
