Title: Cape May Drummin on the Unreel
Post by: CapBob on May 30, 2009, 12:39:14 AM
Just got back from our Drum trip aboard the unreel with Capt. John.

On board was Andy "Skolman" his son Jason, Reel Ron, Reel-er-in Willie, Bruce, Mate Matt and myself, spirits were high and seas were calm.

First drop had just Dogs and Skates. Second Drop Reel Ron landed a 30 lb Drum and More Dogs and Skates. Thrd Drop nodda.

Forth Drop young Jason tied into a nice fish, it was touch and go but Jason won out on a nice 60 lb fish. Short time later Maate Matt had a bruiser on, fish came up quick saw the sky and took off. Matt battled the fish into the boat a nice 75-80 lb fish.

After that a few missed run-offs more dogs and skates.

Had some rain and real great lightning shows.

All in all a Great time with great guys and an excellant Capt.
