I got done a 24 hour shift this AM, headed home, loaded the truck and took the wife, step daughter, and Kristy's mom out for a little family fluking while Grandmom #2 watch Jack and Patrick at the house.
We got a little late start and were limited for time due to Patrick's football practice this evening so, we opted to stay close. First stop was right outside of the inlet on a little hill. Within in a handful of minutes Kristy lands the first fish and first keeper, a nice 21+" fish. We hung around there for a little only catching a couple of short fish and a large sea robin.
Next stop (very brief) was the Sea Girt reef but, the south wind had started and the current was way too fast for the crew so, we got a little religious and went to Church for a little bit but only got another short or two.
Time to head towards home and we made a stop off of Spring Lake right tight to the beach for Kristy to score us the only other keeper for the day.
Overall we only fished for a few hours so, it wasn't so bad. I think everyone will agree Kristy has a nice pair! chrz Time for dinner.
