Had Bob Cole, Harold, Lenny, Maurice and Ralph on board today. Headed south out of Shark River due to the weather forcast of 15-20 SE winds in the afternoon. Didn't want to get beat up on the way back.
Fished the Sea Girt reef and managed eight keepers. Largest was 26", 7.4 pounds caught by Bob Cole. We had two at just over 18, one at 19 1/2 and three over 21".
Plenty of short fluke to go around. The bigger fish gobbled up whole squid fished on a two hook rig.
Only a hand full of skates today, no other garbage fish. TT^
Taking a rest tomorrow but will be out the rest of the week.
Catch em up. t^
