Green turtle today was cold, windy, and the fishing was not good at all.  Between my buddy and I we caught 3 bass and a pickeral.  There was only one other group fishing and they cut out real early.  Ice is about 8 inches thick with a couple inches of snow on top.  We would have been better off fishing shepherd lake by the aerators to target some big trout.

The state just stocked Green turtle pond with alot of 7-8 pounders (Trout)
