Hello to all,
Instead of trailering back and forth, this year I'd like to leave it at the shore for the season. I'd prefer it to be on LBI, but I called and the rates are $2200 and up!! I live in Easton, PA and would like to find a location where it may be less expensive to keep the boat and still do some good fishing. Any locations and or ball park pricing would be great!! (no farther south than LBI, no farther north than Atlantic Highlands)
Thanks,
Dave

you may find some in Atlantic Highland area, but there might be a waiting list in most

What size boat?

What Size Boat.. Capt Mikes Marina in Tuckerton is very reasonable. You can also check Causeway on rt 72. but you have an 11 miles trip to LE Inlet or an 10 Mile to Barnegat.. I would look into something off the Island and drive 15-20 minutes to the boat and be close to the fishing.. that is more important IMO than being close to the boat. t^
Check the marinas on Bay Ave in Barnegat.. Sherer's charges me 80$ a foot. but I'm just a shot to the inlet

I don't mind being off the island, actually we only stay there one week a summer. The rest of the time I'd have to drive 2 hrs from my house in Pa to get to it. I don't mind because I don't want to trailer back and forth.
Hotrod-
Can you give me a ball park on what it may run? I won't hold you or him to it, just looking to see if it's going to be doable.

Barnegat.. bay ave will run you around $1600 a year.. Capt Mikes in Tuckerton if I recall maybe 1200 a year

$1600 is much better than $2200-
Is there a waiting list? Appreciate the maps!!
Capt Joe-
Is that where I'd have to launch, haul out and park each time?

Shark River Yacht Club, $100 per foot. One mile from ocean. Travel from Pa, end of Interstate 195 and you are there. t^

Yea but in a 20 Footer if the ocean or inlet is too rough.. you have nowhere to fish t^

Viking Yaching Center in New Gretna. Plenty of different waters to use. Mullica River if its windy and rough in the bay, or you want to run up in some fresh water and go tubing or skiing, Great Bay is good for fishing and crabbing and also takes you to Little Egg Inlet, take the Intercoastal to AC for the day or go to Oyster Creek Inn or Motts Creek Inn for a bite to eat. Beautiful Marina w/a built-in pool. Nice parking. Most slips include electric. And your in a Marina with some beautiful boats. Up to 20' runs $895.00-$2000.00 And your not too far from LBI. Give Gene a call at 609-296-2388.
