Title: 2009 Fluke Regulations
Post by: Great American Fisherman on March 04, 2009, 05:16:15 PM
SIX Fish at Eighteen inches starting on Friday, May 23 and ending on Friday September 4.  You lose Labor Day.  This is final.  No word on the Sea Bass and Porgy.

The People's Republic of New Jersey has made its choice.

Remember, with a bad economy, huge debt and lots of unemployed, you vote in hope of fixing those items.  Not with fixing fisheries management.  If you voted in favor of the fisheries, Launtenburg would be gone and Andrews would be in as your US Senator.  Case in pont.  And I am not a democrat.  McCain/Palin would be in and Obama /Biden would be out.  But folks voted for a idea that the latter was going to fix things overnight and maybe just maybe they kind of promised a kind of fix.  But its not going to happen.  At least right now.

Be happy you have a season I guess.  And once the economy gets better, you can vote in favor of real fisheries management.  Until them, just deal with it.

Later.
