Title: Milton Lake Rahway,NJ
Post by: yogi192 on March 31, 2009, 02:04:27 PM
This report is for March 14 around 3pm.
Hit a local lake to have some fun throwing some bait around.  First time ever that I tried freshwater.  I had just purchased my fishing license at Walmart, so I was iching to just try it out.

I didn't catch anything using night crawlers.
I did eat a good sandwich on the banks and watched some nice birds.  I had a great time even though I didn't get a hit or see any fish.

There was about 5 other guys there and it seemed they weren't catching either.  Maybe next time.

If you are going to try a few lakes around your area don't for get to try Warinanco Park and Weequahic Park I think that is the way they are spelled.

When I'm fishing....Liverwurst and onions.
Mayo on the bottom, Spicy mustard on top.
Tuna on rye with american cheese is good too.

I've fished that lake with little success. Nomahegen Park in Cranford always   produced for me. Worth a shot
