Title: Yozuri Hydro Pencil
Post by: Bucktail on April 07, 2009, 10:21:03 PM
Anybody use these at all?  I'm thinking about picking up a couple of them for Florida.  I imagine they would cast better than a spook.  But, since they're double the price of a similar size spook, I'd like to know what your experiences were with them before I bought them.

Of course, since they're really bright, shiny and cool looking I'll probably buy them anyway! ;D

Thanks,
Bob

B&B, Those Rapala Skitter Walks are nice baits too!  I bet it was a blast catching a bunch of reds on them! t^

Definitly a blast. I was down there a couple of months before Katrina hit.

What a vacation..The days consist of eating, fishing for reds and trout and hanging around in the bar...They had to teach this NJ boy how to each crawfish...

Unfortunatly, the lodge that I stayed at (Lodge Of Louisianna) hasn't re-opened and I haven't been able to get in touch with the guide I was with...  nosmly.

BTW..I've tried them a few times casting for bass around the rocks around the various RB lighthouses with no luck. I think stripers like popper style topwaters better but I'm definitly not a expert in plugging for stripers..
