Title: IBSP 5/29
Post by: NJetty on May 29, 2007, 12:22:39 PM
Pods of bunker up & down the beach to the Jetty.  Pulled in some big blues 10+ pounds of the rocks & out of the inlet.  Had a friend tag & release a 43" striper earlier this morning.

Could be a very interesting evening, be back out there soon!

It figures when I can't get out there all hell breaks lose.

Oh well that's what keeps us coming back for more TT^

If I can get this framing project over by tomorrow maybe I can get out Wed. morning.

How do you get involved with the tagging project?  I usually release all my stripers anyway maybe I could do some good for a state or national program and give me an excuse to get out more TT^ TT^ TT^

Nice striper, it is a good thing when any we are not going to make a meal out of are released.  Good job.   t^

Thanks for the info.  I am not a club person too much politics involved.  But it sounds like their tagging program is great and with over 17,000 tags out there I would assume the feed back must afford the club with pretty good information about their migration habits and possibly their feeding habits as well.
