Title: What do you guys think?

I am looking at two different boats Saturday and both are about the same as far as year and style. One is a 24’ Trophy I/O - Newly rebuilt Volvo 225 and the other is a Aquasport 23 foot with a 200 evinrude ocean pro outboard.

My question is I/O or outboard?
What do you guys think?

I had both and never liked the inboard.  It was easy to work on but never liked the dog house ,it took up a lot of room on my boat. My last 4-5 boats have been outboards

A good buddy of mine has the Aquasport 215 (I think that's the model#)  It's a 21.5 ft. walk around.  He upgraded from a 18 ft trophy WA which he hated!  He's got a 150 Johnny on the back and loves it! ;D

I have an AquaSport 225 Explorer with with a 200 Ocean Runner outboard on it.  It is a solid boat and has mostly been trouble free for me. The outboard would give you a litte more room IMO.

I think the Aquasport is a much better hull than the Trophy.

I also prefer the outboard to the I/O. I had both.

I would opt for the outboard as well..

Had an inboard years ago and didn't care for it...

Get what you want ;DI like my boat and it is only a 17' 3"  and I still want to sell it but when I get in it I love it .After spending all day getting it set up for Sunday stiper fishing on the Hudson river ,I will keep it .It is all about what you like .Test them out before u buy rgmn rgmn  TT^

At one time or another I have owned both, but, for my money it is better all in or all out, IO is and has come a long way, but still like the out boards mo bettah!!
