Title: Hooking up Electronics
Post by: sperzonkers2 on April 23, 2009, 01:42:12 PM
Hello all, I am putting in a sonar unit in the boat. Should I disconnect the battery when I hook in to my accessory switch?
Thanks!!

It would be advisable as wires could cross and cause a fire.  Work the job as though it were live house wiring and you should be okay.
