I have a cancellation for on a 4 man bass charter this Sunday.

Captain is the best fisherman in Raritan Bay.

Cost is 135 + tip.

The boat is the MISS LYNN sailing out of Morgan Creek and the captain is Captain Vito Manzi.

I believe there will be a mate on this day.

Catfish, catfish catfish......

Mate to schlep crap on and off the boat
Mate to net bunker while captain runs boat in a crowded area
Mate to take fish off hooks, retie hooks and assist customers.
Mate to clean fish at the end of the trip and schlep crap off the boat.


That may be some reasons that I can think of, but may not be why the Captain wants a mate.

Trip with mate or without mate is the same cost.

Why would I care.

we'll have some safety too, but more donuts and ball busting.

Sweetening the deal to include 1 DD large coffe.

Did I mention that it's game on with the live bunker in the bay. 


Actually, boat is a very solid downeaster that can easily take anything the harshest day in Rarirtan Bay can offer.

Good day of fishing with a little drizzle.  Boat limit+ of bass to 28lbs.  One stop was all it took. 

Seemed like lots of other boats were running around.
