Just had one the other day, was unhooking a Slammer for a client and he yanked back on the rod causing the hook to sink in the web of my hand between the thumb and forefinger, past the barb. :'( :P nosmly

Got it out with some fishing line tied to the hook and my rail, and then pushing down on the barb to dislodge it and yanking my hand back.

It hurt but i was to pissed to feel it >:(......worst part was no Capt Morgan on the boat to help disinfect chrz
