Post by: wb on July 07, 2009, 12:24:35 PM
Just rec'd from my good friend Jettyhound (Scribe):

I interviewed the fellow in the attachments on the beach over the weekend for a comprehensive report.  Here's how the interview went:

Scribe:  Hey feller, nice fish.
Fisherman: Uhh, crap, thanks.  Where the hell did you come from?
Scribe: Yardville.  It's in New Jersey.  What's your name dude?
Fisherman: Ummmmm  Bi, Ch, Da, Lar, COLVIN!
Scribe:  Well Colvin, that's a beauty of a fish. (I think he bullshitted me on his name; seemed like everyone around the camper was calling him Tim,)  Where did you catch it, Colvin?
Colvin: I can't really remember.  It was dark.
Scribe: Yeah, fishin' in the dark can get confusing sometimes.  No idea at all, huh?
Colvin: Well, I remember hearing waves if that helps ya.
Scribe: So there you have a full report folks.  It was caught in the dark in some waves.

Nice fish Tim!

Looks like the araa about a 1/4 mile north of the jetty.  Defiantly south of A23.

Nice fish Tim Calvin... 5hrug  Get real bub.

Hi Guys just got bak from the Polynesian Cultural Center and am exhausted thought I'd check in and see what was going on.  Going out in the morning with my daughter to do a little fishing before sunrise.  They are catching some pretty nice fish right out back so we bought a couple of outfits and some pretty cool plugs and thought to give it a try.

The plugs are by Mark White and are made of ceramic pretty cool can't wait to give them a try.  Once I get to slow down I will post some pictures of the area we are staying.  Right now I think I am the only one up and it is nice to have the peace and quiet.

The bottle of Sam Adams is almost gone, I can hear the waves on the beach and the breeze is about 11 knots.  The air temps are a balmy 77 degrees.  There is no air conditioners in the compound but to tell you the truth it is not needed.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I just had to do something before bed.

Talk to you guys later.

Happy catching

Paul
