Anybody catching Anything at IBSP recently?

Nothing for me but a huge sea robin yesterday. Using Squid, Clams, Bunker and spearing. Nadda nothing.

Sand and waves...with an occassional tourist thrown in here and there ;D. I haven't heard anything all week on the beachside. Weakies around the Barnegat Inlet and into the Bay near the sedges. Kind of early for weakfish, but I have seen pics of the catches. Good size fish. Lots of trigger fish in the Inlet too. Other than that the beach has been very spotty, with an occassional bass, fluke or blue thrown in, but nothing really sustaining. There has been tons of bait out there too...like a fish smorgasbord, but no one is eating.
Seems the blues are gone for a little while spawning and the bass bite has shutdown. Although, I am thinking with the couple cool nights were are having the bass bite may pick up a little again, but it is just a guess.

Guess I'll just keep on "fishing" around. Want to try and get to the canal soon.

I am going to keep trying any chance I get. Next time I think I will go further south than section 13, I tend to see more trucks headed that way all the time. we'll see
