this is my first post. Rod and I worked out cross over stuff today and actually, I already know a few people and some customers of mine are here. anyway, hey everyone and hopefully my info and capt. rich's findings help you. I think he is registering tonight.
anyway, I have been away for 10 days but the fishing is and has been on fire for tuna since very early july in the hole formerly known as the dead sea. we have been using primarily butterfly jigs but PMJ stingo fish jigs and T Hex have been taking fish too. anyway, Capt. Rich took 12 fish last night, sunday and 7 more yellowfins today well inshore of the canyon. we will see what happens tomorrow. I will not be on the computer till wednesday but if you want to see more, go to www.catchthebite.com and look around at recent videos and reports. things are archived with a search icon so its user friendly. at least i think so. we spelled a lot of stuff out over the past month or more.
glad to be here!

Hi Capt Chris, We were out there with you.. I recall seeing the kayaks.. going in the water..
also recognized a boat in the video. We were on the troll and only were hitting a lot a false albies.. We headed North and trolled the Pots. with only a little Mahi action.
What Time was that Bite?

That is great yak fishing for tuna!

we picked at em all day Rod. i think the biggest BFT we eventually lost was like 11am.
that shark ran by the kayak yesterday and threw that yaker for a loop.
