Title: Crossbars on 07 Durango
Post by: soakinclams on September 12, 2009, 10:46:57 PM
I bought a 07 Durango and it only comes with siderails on the roof.  I have a Thule fishing rack that needs to mount to crossbars.  Any ideas on what to use and where to get them? Thanks

I think Thule may sell crossbar kits for the factory rails.  You can also try the dealer or a junk yard.  They may have them on a wreck and will be MUCH cheaper than from the dealer or a parts store.  They will be cheaper than Thule, too.

Like P-Man said I know Thule sells the bars.  I have a pair for my 2000 Expedition.  They mount in the slider rails.  In most cases you do not want to use the manufacturers simply because they are not strong enough and will crack sooner or later.

Try any good kayak / canoe dealer and they should have them.

Happy Catching
