Hey guys, this is my first post, so Hello.
Also, I am heading down to Sea Isle City, NJ either tomorrow or July 1st. Wondering if anyone has been fishing there or has any idea of any bites that are happening right now. Are the blues sittl going strong, what about the fluke and stripers?
Thanks in advance.

newbie14,
Sorry I don't have any info on that area but I'm sure some one will. I do go out on the Captain Robbins for tog in the fall. Slow boat, but Captain Mike knows his stuff. They should be catching seabass on the Robbins now.
At any rate, welcome to the site.

Welcome aboard newbie14,
I normally fish at IBSP but I am sure it is all pretty much the same down south. The blues still reign supreme with striped bass especially at night, and an occasional fluke and weakie thrown in for good measure.
Be on the lookout for some big bass off the beach I would assume that they would show up down your way first. If they do be sure to post it here so we all know what to expect.
I will be going out tomorrow to throw some lures and plugs to see if anything happens. I have a couple of new spinner baits to try in close. They work wonders for freshwater and Boone baits say they work just as good in saltwater, we'll see tomorrow.
Again Welcome.

Fishing action has been good. There are still a few big bass hanging around in the suds and the kingfish bite is picking up nicely.
In the back, flounder action is still going strong. Even though I try to stay away from the bluefish, they can be found in good numbers at night under any type of lights. If you can get under the bluefish, you'll find some stripers and a stray weakfish.
Good luck!
