I've heard a lot of guys talking good about the Snowbee breathable chest waders.

I have Proline breathables.   Ok so far.  I'm not thrilled with them, but they're ok.
Paul has Snowbees and raves about them.
I've heard good things about Cabalas breathables, specifically that they stand behind them forever.

Bucktail had a post awhile ago explaining the differences in wader types.  Good info

Breathables is probably the way to go vs neoprene.  The neoprene keep you warm, but in our climate that might be a bad thing.  I haven't been too warm in the breatables yet, but I bet I would have roasted in neoprene a few times already.

I know you've mentioned you're a big guy, so you're probably gonna want to shop somewhere you can try them on rather then order online.  i had the same concern due to the fact that I'm extra tall.

Yeah, I heard Snowbees are done too!  But, you can't beat that price..

Breathables are the way to go...neoprene are not fun!

LL Beans are a good product and from others I have heard the warranty can't be beat.  Take them back in and get another pair is basically how it works.  I am getting the breathable Emerger bootfoot as soon as I get a full paycheck (disability payments suck).

I had a pair of hodgman breathables a few years back and had problems after the first season. I got some e-bay special's now which are cleated neo and they have done well, especially for $60.

If I were you I would jump all over those snowbee's, Ive heard nothing but great things about them.

No mater what you get, it beats running away from breakers like some 5 year old.  ;D

Well at 6'6" and almost 375 lbs I need to find something that fits. Most importantly. Will look into those snowbees.

Thanks folks!

I have a pair of Snowbees and I heard that as well but, they are the most comfortable set of waders I have ever owned.  Very comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

You might get a good buy on them.  Grumpys might have a few left and if they are being discontinued they should be able to tell you.

Happy Catching
