Went out of Manasquan on a friends boat to put an exclamation point on the fall striper season for me.
Been out of action for a while as I was down for awhile healing from a minor foot surgery.
We left the dock at 7 AM and eventually caught up to the fleet drifting off of the Belmar area....not much life, but we jigged up a couple of short stripers, one nice blue fish and 3 short fluke....arms tired and teeth chattering it felt good to get back to the dock at 11:30.
Can't wait for the spring run.

Glad to see you are recuping from your foot surgery.
You got out, got some fish...not a bad way to end the season. chrz
