Your Boat...
Angela Rose is a 28' Chesapeake Classic, custom built out of Exmore, Virginia. She was built with a modified v hull for the calm waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Her power is delivered from a 200 hp Volvo turbo diesel with a Bravo 3 outdrive which sports a duo prop. That means she can cruise at 27 mph and reach her top speed at 33 mph. On the bow, she is equipped with a 20 pound danforth anchor with 100 feet of anchor line. Securing the bow, there is a stainless steel railing that stretches to quatership. Inside the forward cabin houses a porta-poti and a small berthing area. Underneath the berthing area lies 4 compartments which hold 8 adult life preservers, 6 children's life preservers, and a life ring with 15 feet of poly propylene line. Aft of the forward cabin is the wheelhouse. Inside the wheelhouse, there is seating for 4 including the captains chair. Also inside are the electronics that include a VHF radio with intercom, a 36 mile Furuno Radar, a SITEX color depth / fish finder, and a Lowrance X19c GPS chart plotter with tracking controls, and color depth / fish finder. There is also a power inverter that supplies a 120v outlet. On the deck you will find 25 rod holders, a large Igloo marine cooler, deck lights, a roof extension to cover you from the sun or rain, and custom built wrap around safety rails that stretch forward to amidship. She was our primary charter boat for the last 3 years. When we decided to upgrade to another boat, it was clear we were going to retire her to the Manasquan River and Barnegat Bay. There, in quiet waters, she is perfect for crabbing, fishing, or putting her up on the beach to explore Treasure Island or the F-Cove.

This is a first. I never heard of a crabbing charter before... Sounds like a good idea.

Thanks Guys!!
As far as a combo trip, 1/2 crab 1/2 fluke, absolutly!!! Besides anchoring u and dropping the traps, we will throw out 2 pots as soon as we get on the grounds and the last thing we do will pick them up to harvest the soak.
I do wonder, I have 2 boats so is it possible to soak 4 pots??? Hmmmmm ???

Would that be for evening charters in the river? 1/2 crab & 1/2 fluke?
