rugman,
are you looking for sit-on-tops or sit-insides?
Malibu Kayaks just came out with the "Sierra 10", a sik with a tank-well. Pretty interesting concept... Looks like this:

Ive got 2 WS Pungo 120's they seem solid for calm water.  Not the sheapest but the price is reflected in the quality.

I'm a Sponsor on here and Nacote Creek Marina is where I'm located. Bill has a nice selection of Malibu's. He has New yaks, blem's which you could save a bunch of money on and there is nothing wrong with them, and even some rentals that may still be available. Give me a call at 609-812-5195 and visit our Website www.taskmarine.com
Thanks. Matt

The best thing to do is nothing until the weather warms up and you have a chance to demo a variety of boats. Almost every guy who buys a yak without a demo is sorry he did and eventualy gets a different kayak better suited for his body size and fishing habits. All the experienced guys have moved into the foot propelled Hobies.
